This artwork seeks to investigate how the idea of home changes today.

Globally, Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes in search of a place where they can feel safer and at peace – a place they can call home. Viewers will be able to interact with the artificial intelligent (AI) creatures (ants) as they swarm around the outside of the house revealing a representation of an imaginary house that will never be fully completed. Through the use of digital infrared photography, interactivity and augmented reality I collate symbolic visual elements that support my artistic intensions.

While this artwork is inspired directly by the impact of the global economic and migratory crisis effect on Greece, the artistic intentions of offering an interactive reflective space go beyond any specific borders.
